Good Morning NCTIES!!!!!!!!

Over the past months, shift has been happening for the new NCTIES organization (formerly NCaect). With the organization dating back as early as 1971, there have been changes in names, board members, conferences and much much more. So NCTIES, ARE YOU READY FOR AN EXTREME MAKEOVER? Starting this coming year, the annual conference will be held at the new Raleigh Convention Center.

We look forward to seeing everyone in our new home on March 4, 5, and 6. Mark your calendars now to join the construction team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

During our extreme makeover, we will host a variety of building contractors such as Vicki "Cool Cat" Davis, Leslie "Digital" Fisher, Meg "Writer" Ormiston, Cris "Idea" Crissman and Bill "Builder" Lovin, David "Landmark" Warlick, Will "Weblogg-ed" Richardson, Tammy "Tech Tips" Worcester, Howie "Digital Journey" DiBlasi, and many many more. Check back often for the most current list of our talented contractors.

Now is your chance to send us your blueprint ideas to make this extreme makeover a success. Post your comments on what you would like to see at the NCTIES Instruction 2.0 Engineering Change Conference in Raleigh NC on March 4 - 6, 2009

Would love to see some BYOL sessions ala NECC. Most of us are bringing our laptops these days. Some Open Source time as well--just to play around with it. Maybe contact Red Hat (in Raleigh) about setting up a lab with Fedora (Linux) running on it.

I'm excited about the theme this year because Instruction 2.0 is truly proving to be a "Makeover" at our school. I'm looking forward to attending as I know it will be even better than last year.
